Upon successful verification, the Primary Issuer proceeds to the next step.
Step 2: Primary Issuer Registration
Once KYC verification is complete, the Primary Issuer is registered on IXS. Required details:
Company Name
Official Website
Business Description
Outcome: The Primary Issuer entity is created and recorded in IXSβs database.
Step 3: RWA Information Submission
The Primary Issuer must provide details about the real-world asset being tokenized, including:
Blockchain Network
RWA Name
RWA Symbol/Ticker
RWA Contract Address
RWA Description
External ID (if available)
Number of Decimal Places
Outcome: RWA details are stored in the IXS system and shared with the Custodian.
Step 4: Creating a Wrapped RWA Token
All RWAs listed on IXS will have corresponding wrapped versions (wRWAs) to enable decentralized trading. The custodian holds the original RWA, while users trade wRWAs with equivalent rights and obligations.
Default Naming: Wrapped RWAs inherit the same name and symbol as the original asset (e.g., ABC β wABC). Issuers may request modifications if required.
Outcome: The Wrapped ERC-20 RWA Token is configured and prepared for deployment on Ethereum.
Step 5: Deployment of Wrapped RWA Smart Contract
IXS deploys a smart contract to enable wRWA minting and trading.
Outcome: The Wrapped ERC-20 RWA Token is fully deployed and ready for transactions.
Optional - Step 6: KYC Cross-Check Integration
Primary Issuers may integrate an API for IXS to verify token holder KYC compliance in real time.
Implementation details will be provided upon request.
Outcome: IXS connects to the Primary Issuer via API for KYC validation.
Step 7: Minting Wrapped RWA Tokens
Once users pass KYC checks, they can deposit RWAs into the Custodian smart contract and receive wRWAs.
The Custodian instructs IXS to mint and distribute wRWAs to the userβs wallet.
Outcome: Users receive wRWAs corresponding to their deposited RWAs, enabling trading on IXS.
Step 8: Liquidity Pool Creation
After receiving wRWAs, users can create or contribute to a liquidity pool by pairing wRWAs with a stablecoin (e.g., wABC + USDT).
Outcome: Once a liquidity pool is established, traders can seamlessly exchange assets within the provided pair.
