How do I deposit my security token?

When you deposit your security token, you are depositing this to a third-party custodian for safekeeping. In return, you will receive a wrapped token version of the security token that you deposited.

1. Launch the app at https://app.ixswap.io/.

2. Connect your wallet using MetaMask or WalletConnect.

3. Click the Security Tokens tab. Please ensure that you have accomplished our KYC and have been accredited for security token usage before you proceed with the next step.

4. Select your preferred security token and then click the Deposit button.

5. Set the amount of security tokens that you want deposit.

6. Paste your wallet address that you are sending your token from on the designated field.

7. Click Create Deposit Request.

8. Copy and use the wallet address indicated on the screen or scan the QR code to send the token you want to deposit.

9. Once the transaction is completed, you will see the deposited amount of tokens displayed on your feed.

How do I withdraw my security token?

When you want to get your security tokens back from the custodian, all you need to do is withdraw them from the IX Swap app.

1. Launch the app at https://app.ixswap.io/.

2. Connect your Web3 wallet using MetaMask or WalletConnect.

3. Click the Security Tokens tab.

4. Select the token you want to withdraw.

5. Click the Withdraw button.

6. Enter the amount of token you want to withdraw and paste your wallet address.

7. Click the Pay Withdrawal Fee button and confirm on your linked Web3 wallet.

8. Click Withdraw and confirm again on your linked Web3 wallet. Please note that token withdrawal entails unwrapping your wrapped token. This may take some time, which will vary depending on network congestion.
